GENERAL PRAYER POINTS
Jammu & Kashmir
Akhnoor:- Akhnoor is very close to Indo-Pakistan border and bullet
sounds are often heard. Because of the intensity of the war
missionaries have been moved to Chandigarh. A land for Church
building is needed at Jouria. Pray for the safe return of believers who
left their houses because of problem in the border area.
Delhi
Patparganj:- About 80 children attended the Vacation Bible School. Shyam
John gave up drinking liquor in answer to prayer.
Pray for Sunday Class that is conducted to benefit many children.
Rohini:- A new prayer group has been formed at Rajapur Sector. Youth of
Sultanpuri are interested in the Gospel. The "Jesus"
film was shown to new contacts. Pray for the persons getting ready for
baptism. Pray for Sikkim brothers to grow in faith.
Haryana
Fatehabad:- The Lord healed Vimala and Paramjeeth in answer to prayer.
The Gera people are growing in faith. Pray for the
Mathana people. They are going through difficulties because of poor
harvest and lack of water. Pray for rain.
Madhya Pradesh
Betul:- Night Gospel meeting has been started at Hirrapalla. The "Daya
Sagar" film was shown at Salidhana and Dhadgaon
villages. Pray for God’s grace to start ministry at Damua and Bhaura
area. Pray for harvest of souls among the Gond people.
Bhander:- Vacation Bible Classes were conducted in two villages. Pray
for God’s help in starting Worship Service at Bhander.
Pray for the success of the plan to reach 250 villages with the help of
Jeep Team. Pray also for the new field "Deboh".
Ludeg:- 31 persons at Jathatikera and 9 persons at Kasisimma confirmed
their faith on Christ.
Multai:- Outreach ministry was done in Sisothia, Amadan and Dodapur.
Prayer meeting has been started at Indira Colony,
Masood, Dadapur and Chickly. Pray for the protection of believers and
missionaries during rainy season.
Rajasthan
Dausa:- Follow-up ministry was done in 14 villages. New contacts could
be established through follow-up and Satsang
programmes. House prayer meetings are conducted regularly in Dausa. Pray
for good results from the ministry to be done in
Bandikuri.
Hanumangarh:- The Daya Sagar film was shown at Khunjan. Some women from
Jhat Sikh families are attending the prayer
fellowship. Pray for Reshan Singh, Ajpal and for Indra Bai who are
suffering due to diverse diseases. Pray for those who
oppose the ministry and who stoned and damaged the cross placed at the
top of the St. John Satsang Bhavan.
Pilipangan:- A new village has been reached with the Gospel. Prayer
fellowships have been started in five villages. Pray for a
land to build Church at Pilipangan.
Sikar:- The Church dedication ceremony went on well on 25th April. A new
people group called Mali shows interest in the
Gospel. Pray for them to accept Christ. A local evangelist is needed to
help in the ministry.
Uttar Pradesh
Basti:- Seven persons confirmed their faith on Christ. Om Prakash has
accepted Christ and is helping in conducting worship in
his house. Chamar and Bur people show interest in the Gospel. Pray for a
place at Bhoopathjoth for the salvation of those who
create problem for the believers at Pangat. Pray for a local evangelist
to help in the ministry.
Pokarayan:- Vacation Bible Classes were conducted in 6 villages. In five
villages follow-up ministry was done. Pray for a
Church at Pokarayan. Pray for the person who hinders the ministry at
Giriyanpur. Also pray for a land needed for Church
construction there.
Gonda:- Children Home:- Three children who were affected by small-pox
have recovered. The son of the missionary who was
suffering from eye-pain has also received healing from the Lord. Pray
for God’s protection for the Children from sickness, and
accidents and other dangers.
Bihar
Amarapara:- 26 persons confirmed their faith on Christ. Home Missionary
Bro. Joseph Malto has recovered from sickness. The
Patheria people are interested to hear the Gospel. Pray for believers at
Basko who are being compelled to give money for local
puja.
Baditola:- A training programme was conducted for Church elders and
casual volunteers at Lukhipur. 17 persons confirmed
their faith on Christ. God has granted open door for the Gospel at
Sanjodi. Pray for the success of meetings that have been
planned.
Barhait:- (Ministry among children and teens) More than 300 Government
school children and teens were reached through Bible
clubs. A temporary shed has been put up at Gurusagoda for conducting
Sunday School Teachers Training. Pray that God grants
opening at Banji Malto Govt. School and Dhamdhamia School.
Barharwa:- The "Jesus" film was shown in 13 villages. The Church
construction has been started at Odisa. Pray for the
construction of children Home at Gangobeda to be completed early. Pray
for the back-slided people of Budi and Kadi to come
back to the Lord.
Bhagaiya:- 26 Church elders attended the three-day Church elders’
gathering. Pray for Kulbarga Church construction to be
completed early.
Beldeha:- 20 persons joined the fold of Christ. The Church construction
at Kirthajor is nearing completion. Pray for a volunteer
needed for the ministry. Pray for the 54 persons who confirmed their
faith on Christ.
Borio:- 15 persons from Kobaria and Pedo Soodi confirmed their faith on
Christ. Church construction at Pedo Mattiya has been
completed. Small Savings Scheme has been started in 6 villages. Pray for
the village leader at Chappal Kaira who is disturbing
the believers. Pray for a prayer shed at Kurdiya needed for conducting
worship. Pray for land dispute among believers at
Padusa to be solved amicably.
Chandana:- Sonia of Dumli village has given up her opposition to the
ministry. Believers of Salagama stood strong in faith in the
midst of trials. 20 persons confirmed their faith on Christ. Pray for
Church construction work in progress at Chandana. Pray for
the salvation of those who are working against the ministry.
Dalbhumgarh:- One family and three other persons confirmed their faith
on Christ. Night Gospel meetings were held in
responsive villages. Nearly 1500 came to know Christ through the "Jesus"
film shown in 6 villages. Vacation Bible Class was
conducted at Sunderdith Church. Pray for the Bharudi Children Home going
to be reopened for Santhal children.
Gopalganj:- Four persons confirmed their faith on Christ. Seekers’ Camp
and first Church Anniversary service were conducted.
Many new persons have come to the Lord at Gopalganj. Pray for the
adjacent land to the Church to be available for starting a
school. Pray for all restrictions which hinder believers to disappear.
Ramgarh:- At Malamala village 3 persons confirmed their faith on Christ.
A temporary shed has been put up at Dama for
conducting Worship. 1200 people saw the "Jesus" film shown in 12
villages. Pray for the success of the Training Camp that are
going to be conducted.
Rajabhita:- The Lord has provided the money needed for Church
construction. God granted opportunities to conduct night
Gospel meetings at Ambadagoda and Lulagoda. Pray for the Church
construction at Chandna, Kapate and Ambadagoda to be
completed in time.
Singarsi:- 23 persons confirmed their faith on Christ at Joradu village.
Two new congregations have been formed. In the midst of
opposition believers are growing in faith. Pray for the people who face
problems because of their faith on Christ.
Siwan:- Dilip Kumar was delivered from witchcraft through prayer. Pray
for Mr. Jangan to return home and join his family.
Sundarpahadi:- 24 persons confirmed their faith on Christ. Church
construction at Devipur has been completed. Pray for its
dedication to be held without any problem as it is a village with much
opposition. Pray for those who disturb the believers at
Kataria village.
Telo:- 17 persons joined the fold of Christ. Three couples were united
in holy matrimony. Pray for meetings to be held regularly
for women and children at Matiya and Bisanpur villages. Pray for revival
to break out at Saharbeda. Pray for the healing of
Sunitha(growth in throat) and Abiraham Hansa(deep wound in the leg).
Tinphar:- 12 persons have confirmed their faith on Christ. A meeting was
held for village leaders and key people. Local
Evangelist Masih who was suffering from pain in his right arm has
recovered. Pray for 34 non-Christian villages to accept Christ
when efforts are taken to reach them.
Asha Niwas:- (Children Home, Gangupada) God has granted good water
source inside the campus. Compassion International
has come forward to sponsor 169 children. All the children are keeping
good health. Pray for funds needed to complete the
building to accomodate the Children Home. Pray for construction of
Gangpada Church.
Orissa
Jashipur:- About 550 persons saw "Jesus" film shown in two places.
Uphold the believers to stand firm in faith in the midst of
opposition. Pray for the back-slided believers at Gandhi Sahi to come
back to faith.
Keonjhargarh:- 18 families accepted the lordship of Jesus Christ. People
of Akula and Sagabari are interested to hear the
Gospel. Pray for them to accept Christ. Pray for Ho Munda to come to
Christ.
Rairangpur:- About 500 people saw "Jesus" film. Pray for Bhim Murmu to
confirm his faith on Christ. Also for the baptism
service to take place without hindrance.
Srinivasapura:- The missionaries have chosen an area to do intensive
ministry. One person has joined the ministry. Pray for
Gurappa who is the only memeber who has not accepted Christ.
Vemgal:- Sunday Services were held in two villages, night Gospel
meetings were conducted at 5 villages. Pray for Daniel our
local evangelist to be healed of his sickness. Pray for the three
daughters of Jesus Narayanasamy to get married.
Gujarat
Dharampur:- 5 persons accepted the lordship of Jesus Christ. Hari Bhai
who back-slided has come back to faith. Mahadu Bhai,
home missionary has received healing from the Lord. Peace has settled in
the area after a period of persecution. Pray for the
efforts taken to start night Gospel meeting at Manduva village. Worship
has been suspended at Satavakal because of opposition.
At Pendha, efforts are taken to start a worshipping group.
Hanuvatchond:- Children from Bhavandagad, Kalibel and Dhundhunia attend
Bible Classes with interest. Pray for the revival of
believers at Hanuvatchond.
Khanvel:- A song book in Varli language has been produced. In the
Vacation Bible School conducted, 200 persons took part.
Pray for Jeeviliya Bhai and his daughter Shing to be healed of leprosy.
Kevdi:- 39 persons confirmed their faith on Christ. Sunday Service has
been resumed at Divtan. Outreach ministry was done in
eight villages. Pray for the efforts taken to start night Gospel meeting
at Chirpan. Pray for the grace of the Lord to sustain the
believers when facing persecution.
Madhi:- Vacation Bible Classes were conducted in two villages. Pray for
the new people coming to worship service to accept
the Lord. Pray for the success of the Youth Meeting and Seekers Camp.
Nizar & Nandurbar:- A new congregation has emerged at Papneir. A police
patel and his family have accepted the lordship of
Jesus Christ. The people of Kevadipada have invited the missionary to
preach the Gospel in their village. Pray for the Church
dedication to be held at Bhiljamboli and Kalamba.
Sakarpathal:- Night Gospel meeting has been started at Barda village.
Two families have accepted the lordship of Jesus Christ.
Jairam Bhai, our local missionary has received healing from the Lord.
Pray for sufficient rain-fall and for removing hostility and
misunderstanding among believers at Gundwahal.
Selemba:- 285 persons benefited from the Vacation Bible Classes. Pray
for these children to grow in faith. Pray for Bharath and
Kasiram who are going to Korapalli hills for ministry. Pray for Kurji
Bhai and Sahadi Ben couple to be blessed with a child.
Silvasa:- Nearly 150 children attended the Vacation Bible School.
Worship Service has been started at Kosimpada. About 10
families come to Service every Sunday.
Unai, Bajipura:- 17 persons accepted the lordship of Jesus Christ. Night
Gospel meeting has been started at Seiker village.
Ramesh Bhai who read the Bible has accepted Christ. Pray for the
believers’ Children who have passed 10th standard to get
admission for higher studies. Pray for Church construction in progress
at Padamdungri and Sara and for the needed money.
Maharashtra
Dahivel:- Sushila Ben has received healing from the Lord. Pray for the
people of new villages where Gospel is preached.
Jambholi:- Thai has received healing from the Lord. Pray for good
response to the Gospel at Paliwadi. Pray for the sect called,
"Sadguru back tack" which attracts lot of Kathodies. Pray for the people
of Bhokarwadi people to give up drinking.
Mhasawad:- People of Chilla village show interest in the Gospel.
Vacation Bible School and night Gospel meetings were
conducted without any problem. Pray for persons who hinder the ministry.
Molgi:- Night Gospel meeting has been resumed at Khalpada village.
Special meetings were conducted at Okuva and Vettlipari
villages. Churches are needed at Molgi, Dhel and Kaddi villages.
Pandharkawada:- 300 persons heard the Gospel for the first time. Praise
God for the families of Mr. Rajkumar and Mr.
Balakrishna who are growing in the Lord. Pray for the 11 persons who are
getting ready for baptism. Pray for Parasuram who is
going to YCLT for Bible Studies and also for a casual volunteer needed
to help in the ministry. Pray for girls waiting for
marriage. They find it difficult to get alliances.
Karnataka
Chinthamani:- God granted good flow of water in the bore-well dug at
Narashimappa’s land in answer to prayer. Pray for
worship to be started at Marasanahalli and for the believers to get
strengthened in faith.
Gowribindanur:- 20 persons are getting ready to take baptism. Ministry
among women and children is going on well. Pray for
the foundation for the Church at Gowribindanur which has been suspended
for want of funds.
Kolar:- Two new villages have been reached with the Gospel. Pray for
Nagaraj to accept Christ and also for worshipping group
at Kooteri to get strengthened.
Malur:- 400 persons came to know the Lord through the two-day-programme
held at Malur. Sam and Sekaran have been
healed through prayer. Pray for the salvation of Seenappa family.
Mulbagal:- Nagaraj has received deliverance from addiction to liquor.
Pray for Manjula to be blessed with a child.
Srinivasapura:- The missionaries have chosen an area to do intensive
ministry. Three new prayer groups have been started. One
person has joined the ministry. Pray for Gurappa who is the only member
who has not accepted Christ.

meetings were conducted at 5 villages. Pray for Daniel our

daughters of James Narayanasamy to get married.
Tamil Nadu
Anchetty:- Three persons confirmed their faith on Christ. The families
of Ravi and Murthi are the new families attending the
Service at Kottaiyur. David Nagaraj has donated a wall clock and a table
to the Church. Another believer has given a wooden
cross to the Church at Kottaiyur. Pray for the salvation of Nagappa of
Athinatham.
Erudukottai:- About 100 women took Part in the women’s meeting held.
Munraj who was nearing death because of devil
possession has been healed through prayer. Pray for Gotta, Murugan and
Gandhi to accept Christ. Pray for the husband of
Jeyammal to be delivered from liquior addiction.
Jittandahalli:- Problem regarding Church land has been peacefully
settled. Pray for Senthamarai to be healed of cancer. Praise
God for Chinnadurai and Muniappan who are helping in the ministry. Pray
for the husband of Palaniamma to come back to live
with her.
Kuppam:- Siva has given up his habitual drinking. Pray for Abraham’s
family and Esther to get strengthened in the ministry. Pray
for God’s enabling grace to lead 150 persons to Christ.
Krishnagiri Children Home:- God protected all the children of this home
throughout the last month. The children are studying the
word of God and memorising verses from it. Pray for the children who are
dull in their studies. Pray for a place and own building
built for running the home. Pray for a van needed to transport the
children to school.
Kurubarapalli:- Four persons confirmed their faith on Christ. A
worshipping group has been started at Veppalampatty. Pray for
the plan to build a Church at Kurubarapalli to materialise.
Perigai:- Pakia, a woman from Kattanthotty and Mrs. Ramesh have been
delivered from devil possession through prayer. Pray
for the three children of Peter Munikrishnan who fall sick often. Pray
for the missionary’s wife, Mrs. Mary Govindammal to be
healed of chest pain.
Shoolagiri:- Praise God for the six persons who confirmed their faith on
Christ and for a wedding and funeral service that were
held on Christian manner. A school has come up near the Church which
benefits believers’ children.
Thally:- In all the places worship is going on well. Mrs. Esther, wife
of our local evangelist is on family way. Pray for her safe
delivery. Pray also for the efforts taken to start a worship group at
Basapalli. Money is needed to buy a land at Devasandiram
for Church construction.
Uddanapalli:- Prayer meetings have been started at two places. Five
persons in a family accepted Christ in the place where there
is opposition. Pray for a land to be available for Church construction
at Uthanapalli. Pray for Perumal to get a believing woman
as wife.
Chennai Slum Ministry:- About 70 students attended the Bible class. A
film on Jesus Christ was shown and it attracted a crowd
of people. All-night prayer was conducted at Annai Satya Nagar Church.
Praise God for Vedanayagam, Grace Rani Jebakani
and Saroja who confirmed their faith on Christ. Pray for those who do
business in illicit liquor. Pray for a cross to be put up in
the Church and for electricity connection too.
